We entered a room with a scent or a room without a scent, provided a description of the brand, and while looking at the products, we evaluated 42 target brand products and investigated the differences in brand recognition. Significantly high evaluation of the in-store environment and product impressions! Introducing an examination of how customer impression evaluations change.

We would like to present the results of a study conducted to verify whether the presence or absence of scent affects customer impression evaluations at a high-end clothing store in Belgium. A faint lemon scent with a hint of mint was used on a total of 194 participants, consisting of 20 men and 174 women aged between 18 and 55.
